What We Do

a) To provide community benefits consisting of direct community donations to charitable organizations, Athletic endeavors for charitable causes, and programs for the promotion of community goodwill.

(b) Promoting civic spirit in support of public safety and security within Manheim Township, Pennsylvania.

(c) Enhancing public awareness of safety issues that affect the citizens of Manheim Township, Pennsylvania.

(d) Providing equipment to make the Manheim Township Police Department work more safely and effectively.

(e) To receive gifts, contributions, and grants of money or property from individuals, private organizations, public sources, and any agency of Manheim Township or the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or of the United States of America, and to apply, pay over, or disburse these gifts, contributions, and grants or their proceeds for the benefit of the people residing in, working in, or visiting Manheim Township, with this objective to be furthered by funding, assisting or undertaking programs and activities designed to strengthen the services, organization, performance, competence, and professionalism of the Police Department and its officers and members.

(f) To pursue independent research, studies, projects, and programs to assist and improve the Police Department and its facilities, operations, effectiveness, membership, and the public understanding thereof, whether initiated or conducted by the Corporation, or the Police Department, its membership or otherwise.

(g) To hold social functions for the members and friends of the Corporation in an effort to promote better understanding and fellowship.
